Introducing…

New Mama Bird Circle is a 6 week virtual program dedicated to supporting new mothers in their baby’s first year of life. Mothers need other mothers for support and encouragement. We will come together as a circle of like minded mamas to get real and honest about our experiences in motherhood; the beautiful, miraculous moments, as well as the difficult ones. We will discuss various holistic practices and mindsets to help us have a more positive experience of motherhood. New Mama Bird Circle is designed to honor you during this special time in your life.

As new mothers, we crave community with other women, but it can be difficult to leave the house with our little ones. This group is your answer! We will meet for one hour each week via video conference, so you can attend from the comfort of your own home. Come as you are…mom buns and yoga pants are welcome! Your baby is invited and encouraged to attend each week’s circle. You can use this time each week for some much needed “me” time, or to deepen the bond with your baby. Feel into what feels best for you.

 

Each week will have a different focus:

Week 1: Prioritizing Yourself + Creating a Self Care Routine

Week 2: Letting go of Judgment + Trusting your Instincts

Week 3: Positive Body Image + Healthy Living for Family

Week 4: Sexuality after Baby + Changes in Relationship

Week 5: Anxiety in Motherhood + Releasing Fears

Week 6: Intention Setting + Celebrating your Journey to Motherhood


Here is how the program will work:

At the beginning of each week you will receive an email introducing that week’s focus, along with some journaling questions to help you dive deeper into this work.  Our virtual circle call will take place once per week, at the time that is determined to work best for all participants. All calls will be recorded, so no worries if you have to miss a call! Each call will begin with a few minutes of light yoga stretches to feel good in our bodies and a short meditation to get us grounded. We will then discuss the week’s topic and share what is coming up for us. We will celebrate each other’s wins and support one another through our challenges. You are welcome to share as much or as little as you wish each week. We will also have a private Facebook group for continued connection in between circles.

We honor all the many different ways of mothering. We believe that there is no right or wrong way to do things, there is only the way that is best for YOU.

We believe that it truly takes a village to not only raise a child, but to raise a mother! As such, we stand together to support and encourage each other on this journey.

We acknowledge the many challenging parts of motherhood. We are focused on taking a proactive approach to these challenges in order to bring solutions and positivity into our experience of mothering.


This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with like minded women at the same stage of their motherhood journey. Together, we will support and encourage each other and help you find your “new normal”. This is a safe space for you to share your thoughts and feelings with the support of other women who understand the challenges of mothering firsthand. We will help bring love and light into your mothering experience as we gather as a positive, non-judgmental community of mamas. You will learn to lean on your support circle and practice the art of divine self care, which will in turn, make you a better mother.

About Me:

Hi! I’m Ambar and I’m the creator of New Mama Bird Circle!

When I had my baby girl I was completely unprepared for the drastic lifestyle change that a new baby brings. I felt lost, trapped, and thought that I would never feel normal again. I was anxious to leave the house because I worried that I wouldn’t be able to take care of my baby’s needs out in public, so I felt extremely isolated. I was exhausted, on edge, and couldn’t believe that this was my new life. I knew that there had to be a better way to do things, but I wasn’t sure what that was.

Luckily, I signed up for a mommy + baby retreat that completely changed my experience of motherhood. Being surrounded by a community of mothers who understood what I was going through made all of the difference for me. I was reassured that I was doing a good job, and that there was nothing “wrong” with me or my baby. I learned helpful holistic practices such as baby yoga and using essential oils which I immediately started incorporating into my daily routine with my baby. By surrounding myself with other mamas, I instantly felt seen, heard, and understood. I returned home completely rejuvenated and was able to become the positive and peaceful mama that I always wanted to be. My first year with my daughter was the happiest year of my life and is something that I will always treasure. This is what I want for every mother, and is the reason why I created New Mama Bird Circle.
